Rachel Gillen

My artwork deals with how I feel about my life and the experiences that have shaped it thus far. The people who have come in and out of my life, the ones who are still around and the ones who aren't, the good and bad times we've shared together, all the memories I've made and am still making, make me who I am today, and therefore make my art what it is. I strive to be honest in my life as well as my painting, even if that means I have no idea what I'm doing sometimes!!

In the end if I can paint, pay my rent, and afford Ramen Noodles, I'll be a happy girl!
